A hub for social entrepreneurs is set to open in Kostanay
The initiative was presented at the International Forum of Social Entrepreneurship.
According to the Entrepreneurs’ Palette of Kostanay Region, social business in the area is growing rapidly.
At the beginning of the year, there were 47 social entrepreneurs; now the number has reached 76, with the majority being women, shared Alexandr Sobolev, – chairman of the Social Entrepreneurship Subcommittee.
More than the 120 participants came to the forum from different regions: entrepreneurs, experts, and government officials. The fair of handmade products made by social entrepreneurs from Kostanay, Pavlodar, and Almaty region was working.
With the support of KINEU President Rihsibat Mamadov, a space for the hub will be provided on the university campus, where training sessions, exhibitions, and meetings for experience exchange will take place.
