The training and development center ORLEU in Astana has successfully completed a project supported by a grant from the Tamyr Platform Acceleration Program and the EA Charity Fund. Thanks to this support, the center has significantly expanded its scope of work, strengthened its team of specialists, and launched new educational products designed for children with mental disorders as well as their parents.
Starting from November 2025, the center launched new programs designed to help children with developmental needs learn and adapt to everyday life.
Today, ORLEU offers:
Each program addresses specific goals, rom improving motor skills and concentration to fostering independence and communication skills.

Currently, 20 children attend robotics classes, while 10 participate in pottery workshops. Music and creativity classes are attended by 9 children, and 10 children are enrolled in the social and daily living skills program. The launch of these new programs has helped expand the center’s reach to around 20 children per month, with a goal of reaching over 100 children within a year.
During the project, ORLEU specialists were trained in advanced methodologies, including PEERS (a social skills development program for adolescents with mental disorders) and the Triple P Positive Parenting Program, which supports parents of children with disabilities and special educational needs.
The team also produced video lessons and developed a methodological guide based on Triple P. In the near future, ORLEU specialists plan to launch parent training in a blended format, both online and offline. Participation in the Positive Parenting program is expected to help parents improve their children’s development, behavior, communication, and adaptation, while also reducing the need for costly in-person sessions.
A key milestone in the project was the development and launch of the website: https://orleu.org/. The platform serves as a unified space where all information about the center’s services is available. It also allows users to book appointments online, and will soon offer access to online courses and educational materials. Moreover, the website enables the center to expand its services beyond Astana.
The Tamyr Platform Accelerator concluded in 2025 with 10 winnig teams. Among them were the Kazakh Sign Language translation project SignBridge, the speech therapy center Dara Bala, and the independent theater Transforma.
