The AI factory will run on next-generation NVIDIA H200 processors. The system, with a total performance of 56.4 petaflops (FP16), will support large-scale data processing and the training of advanced AI models. It will feature high-performance computing, a fast and scalable architecture, fault-tolerant storage, and full access to the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software suite.

The platform will operate as a cloud service with secure AI infrastructure for the government, private companies, startups, and universities in Kazakhstan. It will provide full-scale access to computing power for key sectors of the economy, including banking, the mining industry, aviation, the oil and gas sector, and construction.

“We are building a next-generation platform that will become the foundation for Kazakhstan’s digital sovereignty. In partnership with NVIDIA, our goal is to provide both private and public sectors with the tools to develop their own AI-based solutions, strengthen local expertise, and drive national innovation,” said Bagdat Musin, Chairman of Kazakhtelecom.

The project is scheduled to launch in the summer of 2025.
