The winner of the Tamyr Platform Accelerator 2025, Gulnar Niyazova, implemented the grant project Dara Bala, which provides speech therapy support in Kentau. The initiative aimed to develop an inclusive center for children with speech and sensory impairments, including children with language delays and difficulties in comprehension and communication, aged 2 to 17.

Grant funds were used to equip the center’s office: the center acquired a speech therapy mirror for speech correction, a busy board, a busy cube, a sensory hammock, and a therapeutic swing. This equipment is used in both individual and group sessions and helps children develop articulation, fine motor skills, coordination, and sensory perception.

Thanks to the modern equipment, the center has recorded significant improvements in outcomes: children’s speech, attention, perseverance, and emotional state have improved, and new communication skills have developed.

The team also purchased additional equipment, including a walkway (a children’s exercise training module), a tunnel (multifunctional equipment for classes), developmental cubes with numbers and letters, soft stepping elements, and ramps.

The acquired equipment made it possible to create a more functional space for corrective work, expand the range of activities, and increase the number of children attending the speech therapy room from 17 to 33.

The center also placed special emphasis on working with parents. The Dara Bala team organized two meetings with families, including joint sessions with children. A total of 22 people attended the meetings, including parents, representatives of non-governmental organizations, government bodies, and the media.

Parents of children attending the center note the practical value of the project and express their gratitude for the support provided.

Such good deeds are truly encouraging. All this work is being done for the future of our children, — said Shahmardan, father of Amir, emphasizing the importance of support from the charitable foundation for the development of the center.

The opening of such a center in Kentau has provided significant support for many families who previously had to seek specialized services in other cities.
